That darkness filling the room
might be a creation of your mind
you can see it and feel it real
it can make your eyes go blind.
In that empty room you feel alone
bad memories are what reminds.
You can hear the echoes there
but don’t believe the lies it brings
by you knowing the truth
and following through,
you’ll break depression’s strings.

I do feel very much alone right now. I try to fight through the memories swirling in my turbulent mind, but it’s all dust and darkness.
